The Step Height View mode is used to compute the distance between two distinct levels of a stepped surface. A polyline region is defined on each surface. A least squares plane is then computed for each region. The differences between the computed planes is then reported. |
|
Edit Region #1 |
Selecting this option places region #1 in edit mode. Clicking the surface image when region #1 is in edit mode will add a polyline point to this region. |
Clear Region #1 |
Selecting this option removes all of the defined polypoints from region #1. |
Edit Region #2 |
Selecting this option places region #2 in edit mode. Clicking the surface image when region #2 is in edit mode will add a polyline point to this region. |
Clear Region #2 |
Selecting this option removes all of the defined polypoints from region #2. |
Compute Step Height |
Clicking the Compute toolbar button will compute all of the results for the step height measurement. |
Show/Hide |
Use this toolbar button to show and hide the surface height map. |
