Open Data File

Selecting this option will display a standard Windows dialog with a preview enhancement.  This dialog allows you to browse for a data file or files to be opened with TrueMap.  The popup menu next to this menu option will display the last ten data sets that have been opened by the program.  Selecting on of these files will reload the data file.

Save Data File

Selecting this option will display a standard Windows dialog for saving a data file to disk.  This feature will save the active surface data.

Save Image As

Selecting this option will display a standard Windows dialog for saving a screen capture image of the Dynamic View window as a bitmap or jpeg file.

Export

Selecting this option will display a standard Windows dialog for saving a data file to disk.  This feature allows you to save the surface data in a bitmap, jpeg, or TIF file format.  There is also an option to export the data as XYZ triplets to an ASCII text file.  The active surface will be saved.

Delete Surface

This option will remove the active surface from memory.

Delete All Surfaces

This option will remove all active surfaces from memory.

Print

This option will send a hardcopy report to the default Windows printer.

Print Preview

This option will display an image on the screen of what the hardcopy report will look like when printed.

PDF Report

Selecting this option will display a standard Windows dialog for saving the report to an Adobe PDF document.

Page Setup

This option will display a dialog allowing you to set up how the report will be printed.

General Program Options

This option displays the General Program Options dialog which contains options for many of the softwares features.

File Format Associations

This option displays the File Format Associations dialog.  This dialog allows you to select file extensions to be associated with the TrueMap program.  This makes opening files in TrueMap convenient because once a file extension is associated with a program, Windows will automatically open the file with that program when it is double-clicked.

Surface Properties

This option displays the Surface Properties dialog.  This dialog can be used to store comments or notes along with a data set.

Exit

This option will close the instance of TrueMap.
