After installing TrueMap and running it for the first time, you should see the trial screen that will look similar to the image below.

 

 

To use the software in the trial mode you can simply click the ‘Continue Trial’ button and the software will continue to load.

 

If you want to unlock the software on the PC, you will need to contact TrueGage about purchasing the software.  After payment has been made, you will click the ‘Authorization’ button located in the lower left corner of the dialog.  This will bring up the “Provide Authorization Request Code” dialog displayed below.

 

 

The ‘Authorization Request Code’ displayed is unique to the PC that the software currently running on.  This is the code that must be sent to us.  If the PC has an email program set up and internet access, you can simply click the ‘Send E-mail’ button.  This will create an email containing the authorization request code.  Simply send the email to us.  If the PC does not have direct access to the internet, simply send us an email from another PC and include the authorization request code.

 

Once we have replied with the “activation code”, you can click the ‘Activation’ button.  This will bring up the “Input Activation Code” dialog as displayed below.

 

 

Simply enter the 16 character activation code exactly as we have provided it to you (with dashes) in the edit box in the lower left corner of the dialog, then click the Unlock button.  The software should then be unlocked on the PC.  These steps will no longer be necessary to perform once the software has been unlocked.
