The Cross Section View is used to extract a 2D profile along the X axis, the Y axis, or any user-defined linear section. The 2D profile is updated as the user drags the cursor on the surface. Simply place the cursor on the dotted line that displays the location of the cross section profile and click and drag to move it to a new location. The 2D profile parameters are immediately displayed after repositioning the 2D cross section line. The red sphere is the 3D display and on the height map display indicates the "start" of the profile. The blue sphere is the 3D display and on the height map display indicates the "end" of the profile. |
