Navigation Pane

This option allows you to dock the Navigation Pane to either the left or rigth edge of the main window.

Surface Manager

This option toggles the Surface Manager window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The Surface Explorer is used to display thumbnail images of each data set loaded in memory.

Surface Explorer

This option toggles the Surface Explorer window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The Surface Explorer is used to navigate the operating system's folder structure to view thumbnail images of surface data on the system's disks.

Areal Parameters

This option toggles the Areal Parameters window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The 3D surface texture parameters are displayed in this window.

Material Ratio Curve

This option toggles the Material Ratio Curve window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The material ratio curve is similar to the histogram typically computed in image analysis applications.

Power Spectrum

This option toggles the Power Spectrum window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The power spectrum is computed via the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm.

Autocorrelation

This option toggles the Autocorrelation window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The autocorrelation image is computed by comparing a surface to itself.

Texture Direction

This option toggles the Texture Direction window from visible to invisible or vice-versa.  The texture direction is an indication of the lay of the surface.

Toolbars

This option displays a list of the program toolbars.  Each toolbar can be made visible or hidden by clicking the menu option.
